“Good Evening!
My family has been enjoying Destin Beaches since we arrived on Sunday June 19th! Todays our last day of Vacation unfortunately! We headed put to Mirmar Beach on South Walton Access #49 about 2:00pm and this Beach Condition was amazing. Again just the tinest bits of June Grass Vissible. Nothing to ruin your frolic in the Surf!

I took this picture Tues June 20, 2016
About noon. Water was awesome and clear. There is minimal June Grass floating around where you wade small bits and pcs. I noticed none on my skin. However my 7yr old daughter had her long hair down and I saw tiny bits in it. Theres no June Grass on shore either. Everyone is having a Great Time here!”

Mike reports: “Picture was taken at approx. 4:30pm on Monday, June 20. The winds changed from blowing westerly to north, which began to push some of the green grass towards the shore.”

Karen reports: “Taken Sat. morning 6/18 on Navarre Beach. Tuesday we had crystal clear water. Started seeing the green stuff Weds. and each day since has gotten worse with all the rain and storms.”

Leah reports from (I assume) Eglin Beach on Okaloosa Island: “This morning, early afternoon there was a decent amount piled up from high tide and floating on the shoreline.”

Mike reports: “This was taken this morning 6/8 in Destin between the Crab Trap and Capn Daves.  Appears to be free of junegrass.”

Treva says: “June grass as far as you can see in both directions.  So disappointed but tried to make the best of it.  When given June Grass it’s best to make mermaid hair.”

Laura says: “This was today June 4th at Grayton Beach. As you can see the water was clear & beautiful!”
