June grass is 0 with a very few concentrated areas where it might be a 5. These areas are pushed against sandbars, are only about 10’×3′, and very easy to avoid. The beach looks awesome right now! The water is substantially cooler than it usually is at this time of year but it feels nice.
We just arrived in Seacrest today. There was lots of seaweed in the water. Also, there was a little on the shore. We were told there was a storm, so i guess that brought some seaweed in. Deeper in the ocean it looks very blue so we hope by the end of our stay all the seaweed will have disappeared. The water is very warm and kind of pleasant to be in, if u aren’t around seaweed. Waves are pretty big most of the time. We hope we enjoy our stay.
